At the end of last month, Moderne Ventures, a venture fund that focuses on real estate, hospitality, home service, finance, and insurance, made an announcement regarding its 2021 Passport Class.
It has accepted seven new companies in its 2021 class. An intense six-month-long industry immersion program offers education, relationships, exposure, and insight for increasing customer growth to its participants. Moderne’s team will lead the industry immersion experience given to the participants.
Geek Estate is focused on real estate tech. It encompasses both residential and commercial real estate technology. Modern Venture’s involvement with Geek Estate is very important for a worldwide prop-tech network. The recently announced class has raised more than $32 million with a valuation above $230 million.
Moderne Ventures is an early-stage venture fund company. It was founded in 2015. Constance Freedman was its founder. The company currently operates from its headquarter in Chicago, USA. Kaiyo – New York, NY: A one-step solution for delicately used furniture, the company has pledged to offer its customers great designs, extraordinary customer care and leave a healthier planet for future generations. It was founded in 2014 by Alpay Koralturk.
Peek – New York, NY: It provides an end-to-end solution for its clients for virtual first leasing. The Peek platform uses a combination of marketing tools, content management, advanced integration, and analytics.
Piñata – New York, NY: It is a rent-paying platform, acting as a boon for landlords by reducing their headache of collecting rent from different tenants. Not only this, it rewards tenants for on-time payment, community initiatives, and good behaviors. It was formed in 2018 and registered as Pinata Technologies, Inc.
MotoRefi – Arlington, VA: Formed in 2016, it is a simple and easy auto refinancing platform. Car owners can save up to $100 each month on their car payments. A digital transaction platform allows its users to pay their car installments from the comfort of their homes.
Tailorbird – Princeton, New Jersey: A construction management software, it uses technology to save property owners money and time. It quickly generates construction quotes and allocates work to suitable contractors. It was formed in 2020.
Trash Butler – Tampa, FL: It offers doorstep trash and recycling. Additionally, it provides timely customer service for property owners and operators. The company serves apartments and multi-family facilities with door-to-door services.
